About Melissa

I have always enjoyed being around children. My journey started when I was very young as I began babysitting, initially for neighborhood kids and my cousins. After graduating from high school, I transitioned to working as a nanny for families in the Ventura County area. I also had the opportunity to work at Camp Amgen, where I served as an administrative assistant and teacher's aide. As I pursued my education and earned my Bachelor's degree, I took on a new role as a therapeutic behavior specialist at Casa Pacifica, where I had a chance to make a meaningful impact on children's lives. However, when I became pregnant with my first child, I decided to stay at home and devote my time to raising both of my children. Now that my kids are older, I am eager to return to the workforce and continue my passion for working with children. I am actively seeking a part-time job that allows me to contribute to the development and well-being of children while balancing my family responsibilities.
