About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as kind, responsible, and detail oriented. I like working with kids because they are creative and fun. Kids are learning about the world around them and it's fun to see them enjoy life. I'm looking for a job that has parents who can communicate openly and respectfully. I would like to work Monday through Friday. I started working with kids when I was 12. I have babysat for many families with kids of all ages. I have watched a family of five kids for a week while their parents were on a business trip. I also watched a baby that was 6 months old while his mom was out running errands. In my spare time, I like to take walks with my husband and our dog. I enjoy playing soccer, reading, and photography. One thing you should know about me is I prefer not to work on Sunday's because I attend Church. I believe that kids need time away from screens and that they need unstructured play. My skills include listening, being detailed oriented, and patient.
