About Melissa

Hi! I'm Melissa. I have over 10 years experience as a credentialed elementary school teacher with an additional 5+ years as a volunteer, nanny/babysitter, teachers assistant, and substitute teacher for PreK- 6th grade. I am also the mom of a 3-year-old son. Watching him learn and grow has really fostered a passion in me wanting to work individually with other children from infancy to toddler age. As a long-time teacher and new mom, I am someone that is patient, nurturing, and caring while providing structured routines for your child. I pride myself on being flexible, reliable, attentive, and communicative with parents. Ideally, I would love to transition from a public educator to working individually with families as a CPR certified long term nanny / private educator.
