Mellissa worked for my Mom just over a month. Today,  she abruptly quit without the courtesy of providing at least two weeks notice, which is extremely unprofessional. In addition, after she was hired she disclosed two situations where she would need to take significant time off from work, which we found unprofessional. This should have been disclosed during the interview process so we could have taken these factors into consideration before we hired her. The lack of care and concern by her quitting and providing no notice is unacceptable.

Mellissa was part of our family as she is a caring, thoughtful person that always puts the person in front of her first. She always arrived on time. Always made our father smile when he saw her and the care and smiles that she would bring. Mellissa was part time 3 times per week and 4 hours per day.  She would do light housework as well but her attention was always our father first she informed us early on. Our house has two sets of stairlifts and she always made sure he was positioned correctly to avoid a fall. Mellissa would take care of showering, toileting, hygiene, etc. She truly cares for my father and his well-being. She also made sure he was not doing something that he shouldn’t be doing. That’s a caring, thoughtful person. Any family that is lucky enough to employ her, they will not be disappointed!
