About Melodee

Hi, I'm Mel! I am an RN that specializes in caring for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. My passion has always been serving and helping others and one of my favorite populations is children, as I am somewhat of a big child myself. While I have no children of my own, I do have plenty of childcare experience. I have a young nephew and niece that I have played a large part in raising. Additionally, I have provided childcare for numerous friends through the years. I love to read, sing, dance, play outdoors, complete puzzles, and do arts and crafts! While I love to be goofy and have fun, I am also perfectly comfortable in a more serious role that focuses on education and maintaining a regular schedule. I am ACLS certified, do not smoke, own my own car, and am happy to help with cleaning and cooking. I am also a huge fan of animals, so pets are a plus!
