About Melodie

Teaching young children is my calling and my passion. I have worked with young children for over 30 years in many different forums. I have been working part-time while raising my children, but both are at college and I am ready for my next challenge! My strong working knowledge of the education industry makes me uniquely qualified for this position. In my previous role at Young Children's World, I was the literacy teacher while handling diverse responsibilities including student evaluations, working with small groups, training other teachers, and parent conferences. I am dedicated to working hard and collaborating with the team to accomplish goals and ensure continued success at the school. I have always found great reward working with children. Nothing is better than the joy they find in learning. I tell people I have the best job in the world because I can give a child a sticker and make his/her day!
