About Melody

Hi! I am Melody. I am a former Graduate of CSU with a BA in Arts; majoring in Psychology and Childhood Development. I am devoted to pursuing the long term safety, wellbeing, and happiness of children & their families. My career path has been a journey that included being a group therapist at an inpatient unit for children ages 5-17 for 2 years. I then was a Nanny to a male infant from age 1 month, and a female age 10. Her & I found many magical forests in parks, she was a busy bee, private lessons, & private school; I think my playful energy really opened her up. The infant and I, well he and I were best friends at first sight because he LIKED my bad singing! Oh, how I adored singing to him, teaching him how to like tummy time. It was hard to say our see-you-later's but I was offered a position at Lorain County CPS that I couldn't refuse, that is where my journey was taken next. I look forward to transitioning to nannying again, and finding my long term second family.
