About Mercedes

Hello! My name is Mercedes. I am a first grade teacher and one of my greatest passions is working with children! I am free for after school babysitting jobs, weekends, or weekday date nights! I graduated in 2021 with my Bachelor's in Education and Spanish from the University of Richmond. Since then, I've become Henrico County's New Teacher of the Year teaching 3rd for 3 years and 1st for the past 2 years. For the past few summers, I have worked full-time as a nanny and absolutely loved it! I have a decade of babysitting experience with children from infancy to eighth grade and teaching experience in kindergarten, first, and third grade and before that as an aide in all levels. I am fluent in Spanish and have my own car with a clean driving record. I am an animal lover as well. I am responsible, organized, and caring.
