As a mother and grandmother, I know parents want to open their home to someone who will provide personal care and attention to their children. That is why I take pride in providing quality care and getting to know the families I work for because I am a firm believer in fostering a close bond. Mercedes was wonderful with our family! She cared for my son beginning at 12 weeks up until he turned 14 months old. She went above and beyond for us, often times taking care of him late evenings and early mornings given mine and my husband's schedule. As new parents, I don't know what we would have done without her! She took delicate care of my baby and I never doubted that she genuinely loved and cared for him. As a huge plus, she spoke and read to him in Spanish and now he understands a bit of Spanish! She's wonderful and if it wasn't for us moving away from Northern Virginia, we would still have her. We cannot recommend her enough. She's pure kindness and the greatest help. We really miss her and any family that hires her will be very lucky!
