About Merlyn

Hi, my name is Merlyn and I'm 19 years old. I'm currently attending Hillsborough community college and will be transferring to the University of South Florida next fall. I have a genuine passion for working with kids. I love creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for them. I have 3 years of experience working at a school where I've worked with children of different ages and needs. I've experienced supervising groups of 25+ children at a time including children with special needs. I've also babysat for children ages 5 and up. I've worked as an instructor which helped me develop strong communication, patience and leadership skills. I'm caring, responsible, dependable, and truly enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and have fun. Outside of childcare I enjoy working out, going to church, and painting . I'm also one of five kids. I'm excited to continue working with children and getting to know each family.
