About Mey Liam

Mey has been our daughter’s nanny since March 2025, when she had just turned one, and they have developed the sweetest relationship. She is a mother and grandmother herself, which is clear from her attentive and warm approach to young children. She has been nannying for 21 years. Mey has built a daily routine that keeps our daughter active, social, and curious. They spend time at the local park regularly, where our daughter has made friends with the other kids who are there often, and they take afternoon walks around our neighborhood. Every week they head to story time at the library, and make occasional trips to the Oakland Zoo. She also handles meals during the day—a feat with a picky toddler—doing some light cooking and taking charge of breakfast and lunch. Originally from Thailand, she has introduced our daughter to a wonderful range of foods and flavors, which we really value. Our daughter has always had low sleep needs, which can make naptime a challenge, but Mey has been endlessly patient with her, holding and rocking her whenever she needs the extra comfort to settle down. We’re so grateful to have had Mey as part of our daughter’s daily life!
