About Mia

Hi! I'm Miss Mia Teacher to my South Korean students. I have three years of teaching experience and nearly a decade of working with children, including extensive experience with students with disabilities, English as a second language learners, and elementary school students. I was previously an aide for elementary students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I then transitioned to a year of teaching kindergarten full-time, before moving to South Korea to teach English to grades 3-6. With a love of learning and teaching, I am now pursuing my masters in International Education in DC. I am strong advocate of creative and fun ways to learn, while doing my best to understand the individual needs of every child. Education is my passion and I'm excited to continue to working with kids.
