About Mia

Hello! My name is Mia and I am currently a sophomore in college at Denison University studying English and Psychology. I am looking to find consistent nannying work for the spring and summer. I have worked in child care for around five years now and continue to nanny when I'm home from college because it is really fulfilling work for me. I love helping to create a positive environment in which kids can feel free to be their creative, imaginative, authentic selves. I am pursuing a masters degree in social work with my goal being to work with children in need, so the safety and mental wellbeing of children is an incredibly important issue to me. I love disconnecting from technology and finding creative activities whether with crayons, cooking or nature. I think that I am a good fit for childcare because I am a very positive, kind, empathetic, enthusiastic, observant and responsible person. I would love the opportunity to nanny for your family!
