About Miah

Hello! My name is Miah and I am excited to help with all your childcare needs! I am currently a graduate student, studying early education outcomes for children in low-income communities. I've sat for families through Care and word of mouth, consisting of hourly sitting, nannying, and staying the weekends while parents are away! My experience first begins with working with children as a camp counselor in middle school! I have held several childcare job positions in multiple settings for years infants-teens. During my internships, I was trained to use therapy techniques to help children with learning disabilities develop their social skills. This was done through a combination of group play sessions, structured daily routines, and a series of reward systems. I've gained both practical and soft skills from my experiences and have always loved engaging with kids of all ages!
