About Mia Rose

Hi! I'm Mia! I've always loved working with kids and have years of childcare experience, including a year in a daycare setting and long term friends and family babysitting. I'm CPR and First Aid trained and comfortable caring for children of various ages. I believe in encouraging hands on, creative play and meaningful interaction rather than screen time whenever possible. I'd describe my personality as understanding, gentle, and observant. I love getting to know each unique personality to help guide them with empathy and kindness in ways that can have a lasting, positive impact. I'm looking for a flexible, daytime position with a family that values communication and is understanding of my school schedule. I started babysitting around age 15 and later gained professional experience working in a daycare setting. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, reading, farmer's markets, learning about biology, and visiting local coffee shops.
