About Micaela

In my past experiences as a babysitter and day camp counselor, working to nurture young minds has been extremely rewarding. I'm friendly, responsible, organized, highly communicative, and respectful. With an open and patient approach, I work to create a safe and stimulating environment for your child. I'm most comfortable caring for one child at a time, allowing me to provide individualized attention. I graduated from Hofstra University where I received a BA in journalism, and have First Aid and CPR Training. When working with children, I enjoy spending time outside, playing board games, and educational games. I'm happy to prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping. I like to follow the parents lead when enforcing household rules, and am ready to adapt as needed. With my background in communications, I am prepared to keep you updated in a thorough, timely manner via your preferred methods of communication. I would love the opportunity to make a positive impact on a child's life.
