About Micaela

Hello! My name is Micaela and I want to help your children learn and understand the content they may be struggling with in school. I tutored other students while I was in high school as well as taught classes and skills to boy scouts at summer camp for several years. I prefer to focus on a student's learning style to help explain things in a way they might better understand. I have also functioned as a trainer at my full time job. I prefer to operate in a three step system: show, guide, practice. This way a student is not just given the correct answers, but is also critically thinking and understands how to get from step A to step B and why. I am also a kid at heart and do my best to make the learning fun where ever possible.
