About Micaela

Hi! My name is Micaela, and I'm a passionate and experienced childcare provider with over 5 years of experience working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, am CPR/First Aid certified, and hold Virginia state teaching certifications. I'm also a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful little boys, both of whom are autistic, so I'm very comfortable and experienced with children with special needs. I understand the importance of patience, structure, communication, and individualized care. I love creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn, play, and grow. I'm comfortable caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children and enjoy planning age-appropriate activities that support their development.
