About Michayla

Hi, I am a caregiver who has a background in education. I was lucky enough to be able to focus some of my high school education on psychology and child development. I then continued onto an Americorps program where I worked with elementary students in Texas, our focus was to bring them back to grade level in reading writing and math while also providing behavior and attendance support. I completed a year of college studying elementary education at UVM, since then I have spent my time working with children, in restaurants and attending massage school/massaging! When I was 12 my little brother was born and I credit him as the one who sparked my passion in working with children. My focus is always to create a safe and creative space for learning and development.
