More Than a Nanny For me, being a nanny is about much more than supervising children. It's about helping them grow into kind, confident, respectful, and happy little humans. I love talking with children, listening to their ideas, answering their endless questions, and helping them understand the world around them. Over the years, I've attended therapy sessions alongside children as part of my work with families. While I'm not a therapist, those experiences gave me valuable insight into child development and positive communication. I've worked with families who felt overwhelmed by challenging behaviors, but I've learned that children aren't "bad." They're naturally curious and often reflect the environment around them. My role is to be a positive influence by creating a safe, loving space where children feel heard, respected, and free to learn, explore, make mistakes, and simply enjoy being kids.
