I have worked at a home-based day care with one other women, handling seven kids whose ages ranged from 11-month-old twins to 9 years old. The day care was from eight am to four pm and included a normal day routine with nap, snack, and lunch time. I have babysat three siblings, ages 9, 12, and 14. I was responsible for making them breakfast, lunch and occasionally dinner, driving them to and from their sports practices, and supervising them at the house. Over the last summer I babysat my niece who is 2 years old and also for a family friend whose baby was 15 months. With them I would do nap time from usually 10-11 a.m. or what ever the parents preferred that day. Along with daily activities like swimming or going to the farm. I am very comfortable with babies and all of the tasks that come with, like feeding, napping, diaper changes etc.
