About Michelle

Hello! I am a nationally certified Recreational Therapist (CTRS), providing adaptive and therapeutic leisure to people with special needs. Over the past 10+ years I have worked with just about every population imaginable, in almost every setting you can name. I have loved supporting them all, but I especially enjoy working with our senior and special needs community members! I can provide the following services, and more; -art, music, and therapeutic activities -animal-assisted therapy -recommendations for therapeutic leisure and adaptive equipment ideas -leisure outings, running errands, and/or transportation to medical appointments -home organization projects, lite cooking and cleaning -consultation and training for Dementia and ongoing memory care needs, adaptations, and quality of life support -hosting of care conferences for individual families, as well as supporting "care teams" with ongoing care support needs -respite care, including hospice support
