About Mikaela

I come from a family of seven kids, so I have plenty of experience with clutter, noise, and mess. I love caring for children and making sure that they make memories they'll cherish when they're older. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, creative, and animated. I like working with kids because I enjoy experiencing life through their eyes and seeing how much they can also teach me! I'm looking for a job that is flexible around my current work schedule. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I was a camp counselor in my early years, nannied, and worked in the childcare center at our nearby YMCA. In my spare time, I like to draw, read, play with my cat, and go on long walks. One thing you should know about me is that I will put your child's care and comfort above my own each and every time. I will prioritize their safety in every situation. My skills include communication, setting and keeping boundaries, and ensuring enrichment time.
