About Mikaila

Hello, my name is Mikaila and I'm a lively and creative 22-year-old! I studied psychology in college, but fell into teaching and childcare after graduation and have loved every minute of it! I love working with children 7mo-4yr, but I have greatly enjoyed my experiences with children of all ages. I'm ideally looking for a full-time position but am open to part-time as well. My rates start at $20/hour for one child. currently work as an after-school teacher for TK/Kindergarten students. I'm also CPR and first aid certified. My focus is on creating a routine-based environment that your child feels safe in, with plenty of space for creativity and growth. I love doing seasonal crafts, reading, baking, basic science projects, outside games, and encouraging independent playtime. I'm firm but kind and will work with you on any challenges your child may encounter. I look forward to meeting you!
