About Mikayla

I offer genuine help and support, and work hard to build relationships with my patients along with their families, and treat them as my own. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, understanding, and reliable. I deeply understand that a smile and joke can make all the difference in someone's day! I like caring for seniors because I enjoy being there in time that may feel strange or alone. I started caring for seniors when I was 16. I attended High School apart of the Health Technologies program. In my spare time, I enjoy a good book, snowboarding, line dancing, hiking, and doing whatever brings me joy! My skills include activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulating, and self care. I find it very important to encourage my patients to do as much as they can while offering the appropriate, best care possible. Lastly, I would say my interpersonal skills is my top skill as I make an honest effort in creating relationships with my patients.
