About Mikayla

Hello there! My name is Mikayla, and I am a current student at The King's University studying for a Bachelor degree in Cross-Cultural Ministry. I have nannied all throughout high school, my experience including all ages and one little boy with Autism. Additionally, I worked at Camp Barnabas, a camp for Special Needs kids, where I was given the responsibility of one 10-year-old girl with cerebral palsy and a mitochondrial disease for a week--I absolutely loved helping her and getting to know her. I have also participated in three overseas humanitarian trips in Honduras, Thailand, and Sierra Leone, West Africa, and I am headed to Rwanda, Africa for a brief trip this February. Africa has slowly crept its way into my blood and I absolutely love the continent. In the end, I love kids. The fourth of five sisters and an aunt to four little ones, they have played a huge part in my life.
