About Mikayla

Hello, my name is Mikayla. I have been caring for children since I was 12 years old. I worked as a camp counselor for 3 years, a direct support professional for 3 years, and with teens in fostercare for 3 years. I am also currently employed as a center aid at Sequoia's treehouse. I have experience caring for children of all ages and I also have experience caring for adults and children with disabilities. I am willing to do most task such as cooking, homework assistance, laundry, brief and diaper changing, and of course play. I also have a lot of experience gardening and partaking in nature activities. I have completed my basic Stars training and have safe sleep and CPR/first aid certifications. I'm also a very flexible cook and am mindful of dietary restrictions and allergies. I am also LGBTQIA+ friendly and am rather queer myself. I look forward to working with you.
