About Mikayla

I started working with kids when I was a senior in high school, so 5 years now! I am also the older in the family and grew up with a younger sister and 3 younger boy cousins who are treated like brothers to me. I am currently in school for speech language pathology and will be in my second year this upcoming fall! In my spare time, I like to take walks, go to the beach, and see friends and family. One thing you should know about me is I make sure that every child feels safe and comfortable. I believe safety, comfortability and trust are a couple very important qualities when it comes to working with children. My skills include empathy, organized, and committed. I also speak 2 languages (English and Portuguese)! CPR certified and infant safe sleep certified as well!
