About Mik

I recently recieved my masters in elementary education and have early childcare experience spanning over 10 years. This summer I nannied for a family with two elementary age children and plan to substitute teach this fall. While pursuing my masters, I worked as a nanny for an autistic child for 3 years, from the age of 8 months to 3. 5 years. Prior to this I was a Montessori preschool assistant for 4 years. The Montessori philosophy strongly informs my methods of interacting with children and my outlook on education. I am creative, compassionate, and enjoy working as a team with families to give their children the best experience possible. I am willing to help carpool as well as do light chores around the house. Currently I am looking for part time or as needed babysitting opportunities! Your child will be safe and appreciated in my care. I can't wait to work with you!
