When I was 17 years old my parents became foster parents to 5 children over time. These children were brought to our lives as infants, and I co-parented with my mother in raising them from infancy to teenage years. For the last 20 years I have assisted multiple families with their childcare needs. I have cared for newborns and children up to their teens. I am a mature and responsible professional with vast experience in childcare. I provide families assistance with organizing children's schedules, attending after school activities, homework, learning Spanish as well as light meal preparation and overall discipline. We hired Milly for assistance with our summer break period for our 3yo for a period of seven days. She came in and was immediately able to help care for her with a daily structure that helped her thrive. Our daughter enjoyed spending her time with Milly and developed a bond in a short amount of time. We will be seeking Milly for her professional care services again in the future.

Milly has been a dedicated, full-time nanny with our family for the better part of a year. She started when our son was around 5 months, and from early on it was evident that she has many of the qualities we looked for in a nanny: Milly is trustworthy, punctual, and passionate about caring for little ones. Milly ensures that our son is stimulated intellectually by speaking to him in both English and Spanish, listening to music, and discovering new ways to play with toys. She also takes him for walks and has made friends at the local playground for potential play dates. Milly has patiently navigated our son’s transition to solids, carefully monitoring for allergies and getting him to try many new foods. It puts our minds at ease knowing how safe our son is in her care. We are especially appreciative that Milly sends texts and pictures throughout the day, so that we can feel connected to our son while we are at the office. Beyond caretaking, Milly has also created value around our home – helping with chores and ensuring that things are neat and tidy at the end of the day. It’s a huge relief to come home to a house that is organized. 

Milly is reliable and very kind. Our daughter got comfortable with her very quickly. She has been good about following our instructions around feeding and nap times. She has even brought books to read to our baby.

Milly has been a great caregiver for our infant daughter, and we would definitely recommend her to parents! She is professional, reliable, punctual, and a natural at caring for children. Milly is highly communicative, providing continuous text and photo updates throughout the day regarding feedings, naps, and playtime activities. Milly has been flexible in accommodating our shifting work schedules on short notice, which has been so very appreciated. On the days that I have worked from home, I always hear singing and laughing from the playroom. While our childcare circumstances have recently changed (out of Milly’s control), we look forward to continuing to work with her on an as-needed basis.

My girls and I are huge fans of Millie. She's watched my 5 and 3 year old for hours on end, last minute when I needed coverage many times over the last 2 months. Millie caught on quickly to everything that needed to be done, was inventive and creative with the kids, responsive and responsible. I felt totally confident leaving her in charge. She was even willing to come over when the girls were sick, which was an enormous help to everyone. She's kind, quick, fun and reliable. 

Milly recently watched my 13 month old daughter for a full day while I was away. She followed our schedule, but also adapted when my daughter wasn't feeling well and refused her afternoon nap. She was dependable, always gave me updates throughout the day, and helped with clean up so we didn't have to worry about that once we arrived home. I would definitely hire Milly again and will recommend her to friends!

My family just moved from out of state and I went on care.com to look for go-to, occasional babysitters. I have a 2.5 year old daughter and 7 week old son. I found Milly's profile and once I reached out, Milly responded to me very promptly, and we had a great first conversation. My husband works weekends, so I was looking for someone to help me on Saturdays as well when both kids are home. Milly came over to meet us and spend some time with me and the kids, and we immediately hit it off. I knew I was looking for help with the kids, but Milly is so much more than that.
