About Mila

Hi there! I'm Mila & I believe caring for kids is a work of heart. I have six nieces and nephews who are ages 0-8 and they're my favorite human beings to spend time with :-) My mom used to run her own preschool and I grew up helping her out with all aspects of the school--from curriculum development to daily operations. I'd describe my personality as kind, nurturing, and reliable. I like working with kids because I enjoy helping them reach their full potential and know the value of being thoughtfully cared for and stimulated appropriately. In my spare time, I like to go for hikes, spend time at the beach, & read. I have a masters degree in education and have taken multiple courses on child development. I love stimulating kids' creativity & curiosity by reading with them, providing homework help, and doing art projects and crafts. I'm currently exploring a career transition from working in edtech to elementary school teaching.
