About Mileah

Hi Everyone! My name is Mileah (Muh-lee-uh) I'm a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Masters degree who works at a K-8 school with ages 3-13 years old. I have just completed my 5th year, and I am looking for some part time or date night jobs while I'm on my summer break. I also have experience with culturally-linguistically diverse populations and a background in teaching English. When I'm not working I love singing at home and church, playing piano, going on walks, reading, and spending time with my friends and family. I started working with kids when I was 11 years old. I have also taught Taekwondo classes, Sunday school classes, mentored middle school students, worked at YMCA summer camp programs with ages 5-11, and nannied children 9 months to 10 years old. My skills include knowledge of child development and neurodiversity, ability to be flexible, building trusting and respectful relationships with boundaries that allow us to have fun and be safe.
