Dear Buffalo families, I have over a decade of child care experience. I have primarily taken care of infants and toddlers ages 3 months to 5 years old. Infants and toddlers are so fun to work with, and every day is different, I never get bored. I'm a very active nanny, and I'd ideally like to work with families who enjoy and appreciate the outdoors. I am very knowledgeable about all things baby and all things toddler. I follow a gentle parenting approach to child care but I also provide positive discipline to children in a kind, caring, respectful way and I always acknowledge how a child is feeling and I help guide them through any tough emotions they may be feeling. Miles is a treasure. If we could afford to hire him as a full-time nanny we would in a heartbeat. Our 10mo old boy loves him and lights up when he comes in the house. My husband does work from home consulting part-time so we've been lucky enough to have Miles give him a break to get some work done during daytime hours. Miles makes sure our son gets to play outside, gets his proper naps and meals while keeping up with him in active play the rest of the time. And when our son is napping, Miles has even helped out with dishes and such to make use of the time! He doesn't just watch TV with our son, Miles keeps him moving and engaged, from exploring in the yard to taking him on walks in his radio flyer around the neighborhood to reading books and playing with non-electronic toys. If you can snag Miles, do it!
