About Miranda

Hi! I am looking to provide a loving family with childcare. I am optimistic, organized, and communicative. I like working with children because I love the immense fulfillment it brings when I am able to make a positive difference in the development of a child. I began professional childcare at a lovely daycare when I was 16, and now that I am almost 19, I want to shift my abilities to support a family given the provisions of a nanny. I have 2 years of general experience with ages 2 months-12 years, but I specialized in infant and toddler care. Working with them has taught me how to gently redirect, be patient, and communicate effectively with all ages of children. My availability varies as I am a college student at UHCL. I currently have 1 in-person class that occurs twice a week (the rest of my classes are online). I promise to be as communicative and consistent as I can. I look forward to finding a family to support and offering that extra hand they may be seeking!
