About Miranda Yvonne

Hi! My name is Miranda, and I am a pre-nursing student at UT San Antonio who loves working with children. I have experience with children of different ages and abilities through babysitting, volunteering, and pediatric therapy settings. I currently volunteer with Kinetic Kids, where I work with children with disabilities during cheerleading practices and help them build confidence and learn new skills. I also volunteer and observe at Dragonfly Kids Therapy and Pediatric Therapy Specialist, where I have gained experience learning about pediatric occupational therapy and working with children with different needs. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, communication, encouragement, and adapting to each child. I also volunteer with Bible Land Kids at Oak Hills Church, where I help care for and interact with children. I am responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids!
