About Mirelle

Hi! My name is Mirelle. I just moved back home to pursue my masters degree in counseling psychology at Bowie State University. I have experience working with children from the ages of 3-12. I have always been told that I have a nurturing nature due to my love and care for children. Caring for children to me looks like anything from prepping meals, organizing activities, and helping with homework etc. During college I hosted a sensory friendly earth day event at the zoo for children with special needs. The event consisted of teaching the children about how to care for our environment. I also did an internship in my last semester at Pathways of Behavioral Health. I was able to learn about the needs of children on the spectrum through shadowing sessions. I'd describe my personality as kind, trustworthy, and empathetic. I like working with kids because I am able to discover their strengths and talents. In my spare time, I like to read books and find new recipes to make.
