About Misty

Nurturing young minds and fostering their development is my passion. For the past 33 years, I have enjoyed caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I am the mother of three grown children and Mimi to my precious granddaughter. My husband and self were Foster Parents in FL. for 5 years. I have experience with children with ODD disorder and Autism. My friendly and approachable nature allows me to connect easily with children. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I am happy to engage children with outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational activities. I am also available to help with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. I am comfortable caring for up to three children. With some college education and trade school certificate, I am prepared for any situation. I look forward to bringing my experience and enthusiasm to your family!
