About Moira

I'd describe my personality as friendly, trustworthy, & caring. I'm looking for a part time job while my kids are in school. As a teacher previously, I have always loved working with children. It seemed like the best fit for me while my kids are in elementary school. I started working with kids as a mother's helper when I was only 10 years old. I have worked with children ever since then. I was a nanny throughout college and then worked as a lead teacher in both the infant room and pre-kindergarten classroom in a childcare center. I then became an elementary school teacher and obtained my Master's in Education during that time as well. I left the classroom in 2015 when I had my daughter. I have been home with my children since then. I think playtime is extremely important in childhood. I find ways to incorporate educational opportunities into the play. I have always been a proponent of play based learning all throughout childhood.
