About Monet

My name is Monet. As a teen, I began spending my summers working as a counselor at a play gym in CT, supervising kids aging from 9 months to 6 years old, and assisting with birthday parties on the weekends. While in college, I worked as a short term live-in nanny, caring for a 3-month-old boy with cerebral palsy for approximately 9 hours/day, 5 days/week. Shortly thereafter, I was a full-time nanny for 2 years to 5 children between 2 months old and 13 years old. While I primarily cared for the 2-month-old, I also helped the older children with homework, drove them to after-school activities, cooked dinner when needed and ensured that the house stayed in order. Since then, I've regularly cared for children of all ages. As a child care provider, I've found it very rewarding to see how I can positively influence and impact a child's life while watching them grow and develop.
