About Monica

I highly recommend Monica, who has been my mom's caregiver for over a year. She has a been an incredible partner in taking care of my mom with expertise and love. From our very first phone call, I knew Monica was exceptional. She came prepared with thoughtful questions--not just about my mom's situation and what we were hoping for, but about emergency protocols, medication management, and other details I wouldn't have known to consider as someone new to private caregiving. That level of preparation told me everything I needed to know. Monica is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) and approved and cleared by the California Department of Social Services. These things were important to us. She knows her professional well and is dedicated. And that shows in everything she does. Her attention to detail and organizational skills are remarkable. She is completely reliable, always on time, always consistent, and she communicates with me regularly, so I never feel out of the loop. She has also been an invaluable resource, proactively recommending services and products that have genuinely helped us. What sets Monica apart, though, is how she is with my mom. She is extraordinarily patient, warm, and funny, and she knows when to be gently direct, encouraging my mom in ways that feel supportive rather than pushy. That balance is hard to strike, and Monica does it naturally. My mom loves her. I trust her completely. My mom moved into assisted living, and Monica is guiding her through that transition.
