About Monica

Hey, I'm Monica! I'm 33 years old and have always had a passion for care-taking in all forms. I have two younger siblings, male and female, who I spent many hours babysitting and caring for while growing up. In high-school I was a PCA for a disabled girl and while I did pursue other careers upon graduating, I eventually circled back to care-taking. I worked for 3 years tending to a nature based Co-Op of 10 homeschooled children until switching to my current job with an individual family of 2 children, ages 1 & 4 this past Fall. My current family is moving to their summer house so I'm looking for something home. My goals when working with children, aside from safety which is first and foremost, are getting them outside and using their imaginations, being crafty, feeding healthy snacks and making sure they feel cared for and listened to!
