About Monica

My name is Monica. I went to school at CSU Dominguez Hills and majored in psychology with a specialty in child development. I'm a very active person, I've been playing soccer for about 15 years and I'm on the soccer team at my school. I also like to get out and go on hikes or to the beach when I can. I have previously worked with 3 different families each with 3 kids. The children were all between the ages of 2-8 years old. I was able to cook lunch or dinner for the kids if needed. I'm able to change diapers and bathe them if needed as well. I was asked to put the kids down for naps or put them to sleep for the night depending on how long the parents were out. I like to stay active with the kids, play some games with them or go outside and run around if we can. I also have 4 years of work as a behavioral therapist working with kiddos with autism. My goal as a caregiver is to engage with them as much as possible to make sure they are having a good time.
