About Monique

I'm Monique, and I love spending my time with children. I was a preschool teacher for four years, and I have about 1 1/2 years as a nanny. I have my AA in early childhood studies. I enjoy singing, dancing, hiking, reading, and arts and crafts. I'm a dog lover as well. I have two children, a bonus son, 16, and a daughter, 5. My family recently moved here from the Bay Area, California. I also love to be outdoors. I believe children learn best through play. I enjoy watching children grow and develop. I'm responsible, hard-working, and always on time. I have experience and education as well. I'm goofy and outgoing yet know how to set boundaries when caring for children. I love working with children because no matter how silly or if you don't have the best singing voice, children never judge. Working with children is my passion, and I love the one-on-one time you get as a nanny.
