My name is Monique. 

I am a mature woman with many years of experience raising my own 5 kids. I have done volunteer childcare and teaching 25+ years. I have had the privilege of being the nanny of two girls from birth to four years. I am comfortable with all ages. I also have done babysitting for friends and family over the years. I have 30+ years of housecleaning experience and I love cooking.

Monique watched our 16 month old when we were in town for Ironman Kona so we could do the manta dive - our first date night! She came with toys, asked questions about his schedule, and appreciated / understood we didn’t do devices or TV yet for our LO. She even washed his dishes which wasn’t necessary but v much appreciated. I would highly recommend Monique. Mahalo! 

Highly recommend. Monique is a wonderful, sweet person and we were so fortunate to connect in Hawaii. She helped us with our 1 year old for the week we were in Hawaii and also spent time with our 6 and 8 year old's. She was very flexible and extremely helpful. Hope to see her again in the future.

Monique was absolutely amazing and left me speechless with her kindness. She watched my 1.5 year old daughter 2x while we were visiting the big island. The day we landed my daughter started showing symptoms of being sick and a few days later diagnosed with RSV while we were on vacation. Monique saved my trip by coming to watch my daughter so my husband and I could have a break. She brought home cooked food for her knowing she was sick. She got her outside in some fresh air and even bought her bananas  because my daughter ate apple bananas like candy. Monique is a wonderful human!

We felt so lucky to find Monique for our vacation to the big island. We hired her to care for our three young children on two separate occasions. She was warm, responsive, and punctual. We were so grateful to have two wonderful evenings out. Thank you Monique!

We traveled to the Big Island for the holidays and used Monique twice for date nights. She communicated very well, was flexible when we changed times and locations, and the kids loved her. Totally recommend if you need a sitter especially if you are vacationing :)

Monique was lovely! It meant so much to have time as a couple while we vacationed with our kids. She was punctual and polite.

My family and I arrived at Kona for a wedding, with a four year old and a one year old. I initially planned on just hanging tight till the event and making do, but decided on trying to get some help and enjoy our days here a little more. Monique was able to watch my two boys, and even brought some toys for the little ones to stay entertained. She was on time and very engaging and my oldest asked if she was returning :) 

We're so thankful we were able to connect with Monique and would definitely hire her again when we're in Kona.

Monique was a perfect babysitter from start to finish - exactly who you hope comes through the door when you're leaving your kid with a brand new person for the evening! Immediately engaged with our 2 year old about his antics in that moment, and exuded a comforting warmth for the parents too! She was eager to do fun stuff with him (and took him for a walk which he loves). She followed dinner and bedtime instructions perfectly, read his "tired" body language correctly, and just generally performed like someone who had known our son much longer than one night. She even tidied up before we got home. A joy to have, I wish we lived here and could hire her more regularly! Highly recommend, 11 stars if I could!

Monique was so lovely and warm. We hired Monique to watch our daughter for a one-night stay in Kona, and we had a wonderful experience. Monique was prompt, thoughtful, asked great questions, and immediately jumped in. Monique has plenty of experience with children and gave great insights while confidently navigating our reserved 18 month old.
