About Mya

Hello! I'm Mya, a kind, patient, and responsible nursing student at Radford University. I currently work as a Nurse Extern at HCA Healthcare, where I provide direct patient care, take vital signs, assist with daily needs, and offer compassionate support to patients and their families. I'm BLS, CPR, and First Aid certified, and I'm very comfortable with medication reminders, mobility assistance, companionship, and creating a calm, positive environment. My previous experience as a Lead Teacher also taught me how to be patient, adaptable, and emotionally supportive, which I feel are skills I bring to every person I care for. I genuinely enjoy helping seniors stay safe, comfortable, and engaged. Whether it's assisting with daily routines, having meaningful conversations, or simply being a reliable presence, I'm committed to providing respectful and attentive care. I'm looking forward to supporting families in the Radford/Christiansburg/Blacksburg area.
