Hi! My name is Myah, and I recently graduated from Texas Woman's University with my bachelor's degree in Child Development. In September, I'll begin my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy with the goal of becoming a pediatric OT. I have extensive experience working with children of all ages and developmental needs, including helping care for my 4 nieces and nephews (ages 9, 6, 4, and 3). I interned in kids ministry at Champion Forest Church, working with children ages 0-12 and assisting in the special needs department. I also worked as a CNA at Texas Children's Hospital caring for patients up to 18 years old, worked in ABA settings with children with special needs, worked as an assistant teacher at Primrose with infants and toddlers, and have experience as a night newborn nanny. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, have a clean driving record, and truly love working with kids. I'd love to support your family however I can!
Myah was an absolute blessing to our family, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She cared for my 7-year-old autistic son, and from day one she treated him with incredible patience, kindness, and genuine love. She consistently went above and beyond to create meaningful experiences for him. She took him on thoughtful outings, including her church’s Vacation Bible School and a local bounce house, giving him opportunities to have fun, socialize, and explore in a safe, supportive environment. She was also wonderful at recognizing when he was becoming overstimulated and knew exactly how to help him regulate with a calm, reassuring presence. The biggest testament to her care is how much my son adored her. He looked forward to seeing her, trusted her completely, and was always happy in her care. As the parent of a child with autism, that level of connection is priceless. Myah is dependable, compassionate, proactive, and truly invested in the children she cares for. She exceeded every expectation we had, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for an exceptional nanny. We will always be grateful for the love and care she showed our son.
