I have been working in the education field/child care field for a year and a half going on two years. 6 months in the Kansas City Public School district through LINC specializing in before and after school care curriculum and 1 year going into my second year as a reading interventionist tutor with The Literacy Lab here in Kansas City. I have a deep passion for working with children from Pre-K through 3rd grade and I love to watch them grow and learn. I am currently taking college courses in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and I am certified in CPR and First aid. It is important to me that children are allowed to express and be themselves in a safe and secure and fun environment. I believe that with a little bit of fun structure and stability any child can reach their full potential!
