About Nakiya

In the summer of 2017, I nannied for one little girl (age 2) in Rochester, MN. I found this job through Care. com. This ended due to me moving away for school. For three years, beginning in 2019, I was employed at All Saints Academy Montessori. In my first year, I had the privilege of working with infants aged 6 weeks to 20 months. In the subsequent two years, I took on the role of the lead toddler teacher, responsible for children aged 20 months to 33 months. I frequently floated between various other classrooms, including those catering to school-age children. This diverse experience allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of different age groups and their unique needs. In addition to my experience in childcare, I have also worked as a Direct Care worker, assisting individuals with special needs across a wide spectrum of requirements. I have also gained valuable experience supervising a group home. I am CPR/first aid certified. I possess a reliable car and do not smoke.
