About Nana

I am extremely fortunate to have Nana as my caretaker. She always pleasant and is a good conversationalist. She also has a vast knowledge of the health benefits of natural foods which she learned from her grandmother. I call her my food scientist. She prepares meals that are very beneficial to my healing process and taste delicious as well. I recently had a posterior total hip replacement and she has been a great help to me. She also has her HHA certificate and is highly skilled and qualified. I have known Nana a very long time. She was my mothers care taker for several long years. Mom recently passed away and I consider myself very fortunate that she was available to come care for me in my house. Whenever my mother was taken to the hospital even for a few days, she always returned home with bedsores. It was very sad to think that the hospital nurses allowed this to happen and it happened so frequently. She always went above and beyond in her care. I will be very sad/grateful when my hip is fully functioning but I will miss Nana very, very much. She is much more than a caretaker to me, she has become my life-long friend.
