About Nancy

Hi! I'm Nancy. I graduated from the University of MN in 1987 with a degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Child Psychology. Right out of college I was a substitute teacher at a Learning Tree preschool and I worked with all age groups, from 0-5 years. I was especially good at soothing infants with song and a calm demeanor. I was an at-home mom with two (now adult) daughters. I fostered a love of music in my children, as I am very musical! For the last 6 years, I've been working with young children. First, I worked as a teacher at School. Then I was a nanny for 3 girls, ages 1-8. For the last 4. 5 years, I've been working for a family with 2 young kids. I've nannied their son since he was 3 months old, and their daughter since she was 1 day old. I typically have a soothing effect on children and love singing to them and interacting with them through play. My happiest memories in life have been with my own two children and my time as a nanny as I've helped kids to learn and grow!
